Plastering

In-house plastering across Cheshire — skimming, dot and dab, renovating, and full re-plasters for any property.

A good plasterer is worth their weight in gold — and a bad one will haunt every room they’ve touched. At Cheshire Bespoke Build, plastering is done in-house by our own skilled team, who’ve been finishing walls and ceilings to a high standard across Cheshire for over 27 years. Whether it’s a single room skim, a full property re-plaster, or new plasterboard as part of a renovation, the quality of our finish speaks for itself.

Why choose us
  • Consistently flat, consistently smooth
  • Our plasterers have the experience to work fast without cutting corners. Every surface they finish is flat, clean, and ready for decoration without extra filler or sanding.
In-house and on schedule
  • Because our plasterers are part of our wider build team, they’re on site when they’re needed — not booked out on another job when your walls are ready to skim.
No deposit, honest pricing
  • We’ll give you a clear price for your plastering work and won’t ask for anything upfront. You pay when the job is done and you’re happy with the finish.
FAQs
How long should plaster dry before decorating?
New plaster typically needs 4–6 weeks to dry fully before painting with emulsion. We’ll advise on the right timing and how to mist-coat properly to get the best finish.
Can you plaster over existing walls or does it need stripping?
It depends on the condition of the existing plaster. We’ll assess the surface and advise whether a full strip is necessary or whether overboarding or direct skimming is the better option.
Do you carry out external rendering?
Yes — we carry out sand and cement render, monocouche coloured render, and silicone render systems. External render is often combined with our extension or renovation projects.
